When should I take my pet to see a vet?
• Any wound that won’t stop bleeding, does not begin to resolve within a few days or becomes infected should be seen to by a vet as soon as possible.
• If your pet is bitten by another animal and the skin is broken it is important for you to consult a vet regarding infection and Rabies protection.
• If your pet has been exposed to Poison Ivy and develops swollen eyes, mouth and tongue or appears to have any breathing difficulty, urgent medical attention is strongly recommended.

• If your pet is displaying behavior that is abnormal or different from their normal response.
